Power for your event.
James Marquees can supply generators and power distribution for most events.Our Super (69db) and Ultra (53db) Silent road tow units are 20, or 40 Kva and can be supplied with up to 75 metres of cable a distribution board and if required cabling for your event. All units arrive on site with a full tank of fuel (23-28 hours approx).
Our generators are rigorously maintained to a high standard. Super or ultra silent versions are available to reduce the noise impact on your event. Feel free to call for availability, more information, and advice on the best set-up for your event.
20KVA (16KW)
Our 20KVA Generators come supplied with up to 75 meters of 63 amp cable, a distribution board all necessary extension cables and sockets you require for your event.
They come supplied with 20 hours of fuel. Refuelling for longer events is available.
A 20KVA generator is usually sufficient for most small to medium size events and as an example it would be able to power: Toilets, band, lighting and catering.
40KVA (32KW)
Our 40KVA Generators come supplied with up to 75 meters of 63 amp cable, a distribution board all necessary extension cables and sockets you require for your event.
They come supplied with 20 hours of fuel. Refuelling for longer events is available.
A 40KVA generator is usually sufficient for most medium to large size events (depending on your power requirements)
What size will I need?
What size generator you will require will depend on the type of event, size of the event and duration of the event. We are happy to help and advise you as to which size would be adequate for your event.
HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR POWER REQUIREMENTS
What do you need to power?
Make a list of everything that will require power for your event including, catering, toilets, refrigeration, band, DJ, lighting, heating, PA system, entertainment etc.
How much power does everything draw?
Once you know what you need to power the next question is how much do each of these items use.
What is the size of your event?
You may only have a few items that need a power supply but bear in mind that if they are spread out over a large area you may require more than one generator to power them.
How long will your event run for?
Our generators are supplied with 20 hours worth of fuel, if your event is over a few days we are able to offer a refueling service to make sure that you keep up and running without any interruptions to your power supply.
Is there any power on site?
Not every event will require a generator. Are there any power outlets available at your venue that you can use?
